Present paper is the first comprehensive summary of the Nolinae (sensu stricto) fauna of Northern Thailand. It contains the records of 127 species occurring in this area, with the descriptions of 16 new genera and 46 new species, numerous new combinations, stati and synonyms. With 11 colour plates and 58 genitalia figures.

This paper contains some corrigenda of the Acontia revision, published in 2008, and results of several recent investigations made since the publication of the revision. Catocala kaki ishizukai a new subspecies (Lepidoptera, Noctuidae) from China

A new subspecies, Catocala kaki ishizukai, is described. In appearance, it resembles the nominate subspecies Catocala kaki kaki Ishizuka, 2003, but differs in the hindwing pattern and distribution.
The female genitalia of Catocala kaki are described for the first time.
Meharia yakovlevi, a new species (Lepidoptera, Cossidae) from Yemen

A new species, Meharia yakovlevi, is described. In appearance, it resembles Meharia semilactea (Warren et Rothschild, 1905), but differs from the latter in the wing pattern and genital structure.
Wittocossus dellabrunai (Lepidoptera, Cossidae), a new species from China

Wittocossus dellabrunai Saldaitis & Ivinskis, spec. nov. is described from Shaanxi Province, China. The new species resembles Wittocossus mokanshanensis Daniel, 1945, but has significant external and genital differences.

Mimeusemia morinakai Kishida, 1995 is recorded for the first time on Lombok Island (Indonesia). The author presents an overview of the collecting site and the collecting methodology. Moreover, a checklist of the Agraristinae of the Sumatra, Java, Bali and Lombok is given.
Contribution to the knowledge of the Iranian Orthopteroid insects I.

The present paper contains faunistical data on 157 Iranian Orthopteroid insects (Grylloidea 4, Stenopelmatoidea 2, Tettigonioidea 33, Acridoidea 110, Phasmatodea 1, Blattodea 5, Dermaptera 2) collected mostly by the Hungarian zoological expeditions during the last nine years. One species (Labidura riparia (Pallas, 1773)) is new to the fauna of Iran.

A new subspecies E. megaera cadioui subspec. nov., from Yemen and Saudi Arabia is described.
The new subspecies differs from the nominate subspecies in wing colour, male genitalia and distribution. Photographs of the imago and male genitalia of Euchloron maegera lacordairei (Boisduval, 1833) are presented.
Über das Artenspektrum der Gattung Creatonotos Hübner, 1816 auf der Arabischen Halbinsel mit einer Revision der afrotropischen Creatonotos leucanioides Holland, 1893-Artengruppe (Lepidoptera: Arctiidae, Spilosominae)

The African and Arabian species of the genus Creatonotos Hübner, 1816 are revised. All species are illustrated and their distribution is discussed. All species in south-western Saudi Arabia and in Jemen are deemed to belong to the Afrotropical Creatonotos leucanioides Holland, 1893 group, while C. omanirana de Freina, 2007 in north-east Oman belongs to the indoaustralian C. gangis group. Creatonotos leucanioides Holland, 1893, the Arabian C. albidior Wiltshire, 1986 and the East African Creatonotos brunnipennis Bartel, 1903 were found not to be distinguishable from each other on phenotypical features, including characters of the genitalia and androconial organs (coremata), and the distinguishing characters, as given in the descriptions of Bartel (1903) and Wiltshire (1986) are not as distinct and stable as proposed. Further, molecular characters show only minimal differences between C. leucanioides and C. albidior, so that albidior at most can be regared as a subspecies of the former, recognisable by a paler coloration and reduced wing pattern. Consequently, albidior and brunnipennis are synonymised with leucanioides (syn. n.), the former relegated to subspecies level as C. leucanioides albidior (stat. n.).

Speiredonia darwiniana spec. nov. is described from Northwestern Australia. The new species is similar in facies to several members of the genus, from which it differs by the configuration of both the male and female genitalia and characteristics of the pattern.
